The Thomas County Democratic Party strives to create a better future for all by working to enact progressive policies; educate the public about issues affecting our community; encourage voting; recruit and support qualified candidates for office; and facilitate the goals and operations of our state and national party.

With over 500 members, TCDP is one of the largest and most active in southern Georgia. Our Facebook page, website, and bi-monthly newsletter keep our members up to date on issues and party activities. Our decision-making body is an elected 16-member County Committee.

In addition to monthly meetings, we arrange programs on current issues, host social events, and conduct fundraisers. We’re busiest during election seasons when we recruit candidates and canvass for them, and open and staff a headquarters where we pass out campaign information and materials.
